Review: Sephora Waterproof Eye Pencil Liner in Suede Shoes
I used my Sephora points to get a mini version of their waterproof pencil eyeliner and I'm so pleased with it. First, I'm weird and love mini pencils - I find them so much easier to use than the regular size. This one came in a dark, slate blue with a hint of sheen to it called Suede Shoes. It is a very affordable $10 for the full-sized version, so imagine my shock and happiness to discover that the formula is the closest I have found to Chantecaille's absolutely marvelous but $30 Luster Glide eyeliner. It glides on in a flawless creamy fashion. It is smudgeable but you have to smudge quickly because once it sets it does. not. move. You will need a waterproof eye makeup remover to get this stuff off. Sephora sells a lovely range of colors in this pencil, including some glitter and matte shades. I'm keen to try many more to discover whether the quality is consistent across the shade range. For now, I think my mini pencil will be worn to a stub all too soon at the rate I've been using it.
