Review: Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipstick in Ladyflower
This is the sheer version of the Urban Decay Revolution lipstick, which I happily got for 50% off from Sephora, as the line is being discontinued. I only got one--Ladyflower--and I'm glad I only bought one because I'm not liking it much. I normally like sheer lipsticks, but despite this one's soft and balmy texture, my lips were irritated and felt dry after I'd worn it for a few hours. It reminds me a lot of MAC Huggables in texture, except that the Huggables are nice and moisturizing over time. Longevity is ok; one side effect of being somewhat drying is that it seems to deposit a decent amount of pigment on the lips. The Ladyflower color is a deep, rosy pink that I find very flattering. Overall, though, I think the discontinuation of this line is no great loss to the make up world.
