Review: Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask
Any serious dermatologist will tell you that this plant stem cell stuff in skincare is a waste of time and money, but this mask came in a set with others I was more interested in, so I decided to give it a try. It purports to be anti-aging, to soften the appearance of wrinkles and brighten the skin. It is a cooling gel that you apply to cleansed skin and leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse off. I found it pleasant to use. It feels nice on the skin--particularly if it's warm outside--and has a light rose scent. As for its effects, my skin felt soft and plump when I rinsed it off but that was short-lived. Within an hour, I was itching to apply moisturizer and my skin appeared back to normal. Overall, I'd say this one is not worth your money, but is unlikely to do you any harm if you just want to have a fun pampering day.
