Review: Elemis Frangipani Monoi Body Oil
I had this oil for nearly a year before I got around to using and now reviewing it. Why? Well, it's not very user friendly and is far better suited to a spa environment than the home. I picked it up when we were on a cruise last year and I got a manicure. She used it on my cuticles and it smelled amazing and felt amazing, so I bought it. She neglected to mention it's made with a coconut oil base which is solid at room temp. Yep, in order to use this oil, you have to warm it first. It's kind of a pain in the rear. I have taken to bringing it in the shower with me - when I remember - and it liquifies in there so I can liberally apply it to my limbs when I am done. The coconut oil makes my skin silky smooth, and perfumed for hours with a sultry frangipani fragrance. But it is hideously overpriced at $53, particularly given the inconvenience to use it.
