Review: Maison Francis Kurkdjian APOM pour femme
It took me a long time to "get" orange blossom-centric fragrances. Now I can't get enough of them. APOM pour femme (a strange name) is one of the most beautiful orange blossoms on the market. It is ebullient and warm and golden and bubbly. The juice opens with a blast of orange flower, so dense it has that almost grape-like quality. There is a tropical quality to it from a bit of ylang ylang, which also lends its warmth. There is a honeyed quality to the florals, and you might get just a hint of a fecal note, consequently. Don't be afraid, though - it all mashes together marvelously. I love to wear this one on a hot day because it blooms and blooms.
