Review: Tom Ford Jasmin Rouge
Jasmin Rouge is supposed to be laden with all these exotic spices but to my nose it's much simpler: just a lot of lovely jasmine. The jasmine note here is relatively "clean", not a ton of indoles, but it still manages to be slightly edgy. The flower is a bit sweet but not overly so. I also get some ylang-ylang from it, lending an added exotic element. I don't get a lot of progression with this one; it's fairly linear. Do I like it? Yup. Do I think it was wise to pay Tom Ford prices for it? Nah.
