Review: Carrement Belle Musc Eau de Parfum
The bottle doesn't look like much and you can't buy it in the US but aside from those downsides, Carrement Belle's Musc is quite the find. It is a fruity, berry-laden musk. If you kinda sorta liked L'Artisan's Mure et Musc but it was not quite right (I found it slightly plasticky and cloying), you might want to give this one a whirl. I find it more musky than fruity, quite linear, and shockingly long-lasting. It's also really cheap, if you live in Europe or have someone who lives there who can mail it to you. I believe it costs around $30 there - quite an advantage over the L'Artisan. It is perfectly acceptable to wear to work, my boyfriend likes it, and it is quite cheerful - in short, a great addition to my scent wardrobe.
