Review: Chanel Les Exclusif Misia
Chanel's Misia doesn't smell like a Chanel - it smells like a Guerlain. It brings to mind both Apres l'Ondee eau de toilette and Meteorites. Misia opens with sweet violets - they are soft and subdued, but very sweet. They are chased by chewy almonds and buffered by just a touch of earthy iris. The violets dominate the lifespan of this scent, surprisingly beating out even the iris in the drydown. It's not a groundbreaking scent but a nice addition to Chanel's Les Exclusif offerings, which don't have many soft florals in their lineup. For me, I'd prefer to dial back the violets in favor of the iris and add a touch of green.
