Review: L'Artisan Traversee du Bosphore

L'Artisan Traversee du Bosphore is in this blogger's opinion one of their best releases...ever. This is another of those unlikely to be wonderful combinations that actually works.  It's sort of loukhoum-inspired but not powdery like that genre tends to be. This fragrance has luscious apple notes--and yes, it's sweet--but it's tempered by subtle rose and smooth suede. It also laaaaaaaaaaaaasts a loooooooooooong tiiiiiiiiime....which is exceptional for L'Artisan. The apple fades into the drydown, paving the way for a smooth, sueded vanilla.  Simply outstanding.
