Review: L'Oreal Lash Out Butterfly Mascara
I am all about the butterfly lash look - longer at the outer corners, while being light and fluttery? Yes, please. So I was excited to buy L'Oreal's Butterfly mascara when I saw it at Target. It's even a fiber-based mascara, which is great for me - fiber ones tend to work well on my oily lids. It has sleek silver packaging and an interesting brush. The brush took some doing to get right - check it out:
It's a short bristled plastic wand that's angled to try and help you get the butterfly effect. Once I played with it a little, I liked it fine. I was also pleased with the overall look of the lashes after I was done. However. A few hours into my day at work, my eyes started itching like crazy. Usually that's the kiss of death for me with a new mascara but I was willing to give this one the benefit of the doubt because it's pollen season. Then I checked my eyes with mirror. Holy flakies, batman. My eyes were itching because this stuff was flaking into them! Into the trash it goes. Ain't nobody got time for that.
